Terms of Service for Viresta

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

1. General Provisions

These Terms of Service govern the access and use of professional development courses offered by Viresta. By registering for any service, digital product, or physical good, you agree to comply with these terms.

2. Service Definitions

“Services” refers to instructor-led professional development courses, whether delivered in-person or live online. “Digital Products” refers to e-learning modules, webinars, downloadable resources, and other infoproducts. “Physical Goods” refers to any printed materials, workbooks, kits, or merchandise provided in conjunction with a course.

3. Registration and Payment

To secure a place in a service or to purchase a digital product or physical good, full payment is required at the time of registration. Viresta uses secure channels to process payment, and the total amount due will be displayed in the local currency of the purchaser.

4. Reimbursement Policy

4.1 Services (Professional Development Courses)

Full reimbursement if request is submitted at least 14 days before the course start date.
Partial reimbursement (50%) if request is submitted between 7 and 13 days before the course start date.
No reimbursement for cancellation requests made within 6 days of the course start date, due to instructor scheduling and facility arrangements.

4.2 Digital Products

Full reimbursement if reported within 7 days of access and no more than 30% of the content has been consumed.
No reimbursement if more than 7 days have passed since access began or if over 30% of the material has been used.

4.3 Physical Goods

Reimbursement eligibility within 30 days of delivery, provided items are unused and returned in original packaging.
Customer covers return shipping unless the item is defective or incorrect.

5. Reimbursement Method

6. Rescheduling of Courses

Participants may request to reschedule a service to a later date at no additional charge if the request is made at least 7 days before the original start date. Requests within 6 days of the start are subject to availability and may incur a handling fee of up to 20% of the course fee.

7. No Reimbursement Cases

Cancellations due to personal preference made less than 6 days prior to a service start date are not eligible for reimbursement. This ensures proper allocation of facility space, instructor availability, and materials.

8. Intellectual Property

All course content, materials, and digital products are the intellectual property of Viresta and are protected by copyright law. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or sharing is strictly prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

Viresta’s liability for direct damages arising from these terms is limited to the total amount paid by the customer for the applicable service, digital product, or physical good. In no event shall Viresta be liable for indirect, incidental, or special damages.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zurich.
